How do I play this virtual piano?
Click or tap the on-screen keys, or use your computer keyboard (A S D F G H J K for white keys; W E T Y U for black keys). Z and X change octave.
Is audio private?
Yes. Notes are synthesized in your browser with the Web Audio API. Site95 never receives your playing.
Can I change the sound?
Yes. Choose Piano, Soft sine, Triangle, Square, or Sawtooth from the Sound menu, and adjust volume and sustain.
What notes are shown?
Two octaves are visible at a time, starting from the selected base octave (default C4–B5). Shift octaves to reach lower or higher ranges.
Does it work offline after loading?
After the page and script load, the piano runs locally. You only need a network connection to open the page initially.
Why did sound stop?
Some browsers suspend audio when the tab is in the background. Click a key again to resume. Also check device volume and the on-page volume slider.
